I saw somebody in another thread on this forum suggest or recommend LinksManager as a good program for running a reciprocal link program. Today while I was browsing a site that invited reciprocal links I found this message:

"Please note that we are not interested in exchanging links with LinksManager driven sites. Google is filtering out many of the LinksManager generated pages and 90% of the time there is no benefit in us exchanging links with said sites."

Does anybody know if this is true?

I use LinksManager (Free Service) not the actual manager tool to find similar sites that have good content which is related to my site, I don't use the service 24/7 but have had some sites asking to link etc...I have linked to a few of them that I have surfed and really found them useful.

here's a link to the FAQ on linksmanager site, The Google Team did post on the FAQ.

also..I did send Google an email about the service...waiting for a reply back

A second thread got started on this question. I think the question about Google's treatment of LinksManager link pages has been answered there. The link is http://www.highranki...?showtopic=1000.
