Hi all,

I have a PR4 .eu website that is in German, but the client has asked for SEO on English search terms. The site does have an English translation (on the 'en' sub-domain), and I am thinking that I should swap, making the 'www' page English, using 'de' for the German translation, and then SEO the site as normal.

My question is whether a website that suddenly changes to another language will incur a penalty, or whether Google merely see this as a update and the domain (homepage) will keep the PR4.

ps... I am new here and not posted before, so hi to everyone smile.gif

PR is about links and only links so what you're talking about will have nothing to do with your PR.
