I'm working on winning over a new client whose current SEO company has set them up with an automated reciprocal linking page whereby any irrelevant site can submit their link in return for an inbound link with their broadest keyword as anchor text.
Their link submission page was information.website.com, and it linked out to some really funky sites.
I suggested they discontinue it in favor of more appropriate link building, so they asked the SEO company to remove the page.
But all they've done is removed the navigation to the page. The page is still up and still indexed by Google.
Should it be deleted? Should it be redirected? I'm not sure what the best solution would be.
Thanks
