Hello,
My client's web host changed their servers, and now instead of having a cumulative statistics report, they have a daily report only. I use Web log expert Lite to analyze the statistics.
I used to review the stats monthly for my client, but I can't see doing it daily.
Is there some kind of program that takes 30 days of reports and puts them into one report? If not, what should I do? Switch web hosts?
Thanks for any advice.
Risa

You can use a hosted stats service and pull up reports over any time in history. Another benefit is even if you switch hosts or your host does something like you just said, your stats will always be available. For example, http://www.ecommstats.com

I use a program called Faststats Analyzer (by Mach 5) to analyze my log files. It's a software package that your purchase and install on your local machine, and which works with multiple formats of log files (so I can change hosting providers at any time and continue to use the same tool to analyze my logs, no matter the format).
My host also creates daily log files, but Faststats has the option of doing a single analysis on multiple files.
So, I save a month's worth of daily log files into a single folder, then run a single analysis on them and it functions just the same as if I had a single log file with a whole month's worth of info on it.
If the analysis packages that the host offers don't allow this option, you might want to check out other analysis packages. I know that FastStats can't be the only one that offers this functionality, so if for some reason FastStats doesn't work for you, there should be other options available.

Thanks for the responses. I briefly looked at both websites, and I'm going to look at them again now. It's nice to know there is a solution, short of changing hosts.
Thanks.

Most stats packages will analyze as many or as few days worth of logs as you like. Throwing out another couple of names - 123LogAnalyzer and ClickTracks both do this.
