2 months ago I began attempting to optimize the index page of my website for a primary keyword. Within a month google ranked me 15th for my primary keyword. I was still recently making changes and playing around with my website trying to get past 15th and into the top 10. As of yesterday the google cache date for my index page was I think 1-5-10, and it was my current index page. Today I had no ranking for my primary keyword AND the google cached page for my index page went back to 12-30-09 and was an old version of my index page.

So whats up with that?

Thanks in advance.
