It Seems that RSS would be valuable to branding yourself and your site. I have a few questions about it.
1.) How would I make an RSS from my site, so others could use my info.
2.) How do I set it up so I can have live feeds from select sites to mine.
3.) I am looking for good RSS feeds... for my site... outdoor sports news, and Christian news. I have not found any good RSS feed directories.
RSS is simply a subset of XML and not terribly difficult to figure out. If you want to use notepad and create a feed on your own there are a number of articles and resources that will help you, one is make-rss-feeds.com (or you can use FeedForAll
Also goarticles just implemented a really cool feature, where you can syndicate article feeds from their site with a single line of java. Article Central did something similar so you can choose feed categories. I'm almost done with an article about it. I'll either pm or email you the article if you are interested in the details on how it works.
RSS is really a great way to expand your audience.
