My day job just received a letter from Google saying "We're a Favorite Place on Google".
I hadn't seen anything about this until now, and am not seeing anything doing a forum search.
In Googleing it, I see where other people have received the letter as well and that Google sent out 100,000 of these.
Is this a good thing, or just Google marketing?

Yea, everyone is now getting these.... It is mostly a marketing thing, but can be helpful if it worked right. Many simply do not work, I have some details on the issue at http://www.seroundta...ves/021368.html
