Hi,
When we talk about business writing, newsletters, promotions or even web copywriting; it is good to use "WE". It looks more professional. "I" reflects only a single person and does not have enough charm to attract readers. Whereas "WE" gives an image of company, a professional firm or service providers. Also, it does not matter how many partners/workers/employees you have. "WE" is used for your company, not for the number of persons in a company.
Hope this helps.

As Jill says, try telling your visitors what YOU can do for THEM, not how I or WE think of things but how YOU can benfit ME!

I disagree completely. If you're a one-man (woman) show and it's just you with no one else, you are an "I" not a "we."
But, the word you should be using most of all is not "I" or "we," it's you. You should be creating a website for your site visitors, not about your company.

The exception here would be if you, as CEO/President of the company, were giving a personal guarantee or promise as to the quality (e.g. "I promise that we will use only the most ethical, white hat SEO tactics targeted to provide long-term value for your web site"). In this scenario, I think you speaking on behalf of the company is appropriate.

Also, are you as an individual a brand? Do people know your name / reputation? Use I in these cases as people will latch on to your reputation and trust you (and by association) the brand you represent.
