Hi all,
Let's assume I had a page on my site titled "Blue Widgets".
Is there an optimum and/or maximum number (from an optimization standpoint) of internal links I should have pointed to this page?
Thanks

No.
If I had 15 various pages on my site where the word "Blue Widget" appeared in the main body of text, it's perfectly fine to put one link on each of those pages and direct all of those links all to my main "Blue Widgets" page?
Thanks!

Yes, it's fine, and if it's of value to your visitors so they can easily get to content related to the words you hyperlink, be it products, information , glossary etc. It's not just ok, but good!
It is also how you can boost keyword relevancy for particular pages. But don't go overboard with anything, if every other word ended up a hyperlink the page would probably look messy for a visitor to read or easily navigate.
Think visitor 1st, SE's 2nd!
