I have found the Google keyword tool to be frustrating...yes, it's the most up-to-date, but it's also superficial. I use the above tools plus Google Insights as a cross-check.
Good luck!

This is really a nice discussion... learning a lot about ...
I go right to my web case... index is optimized for some keywords (photography asia photo souteastasia) I have noted that it comes up (at least with yahoo) but no one actually search those words if I look at wordtracker or similar.
How can I modify if my content is that one? Mislead or lie is not so good.
I have already modified, accordingly to the content they have, all the other pages each of them is actually optimized differently and now I wait results as I change all the files less then a month ago.

You have to optimize based on keywords people are actually searching on!
Get a group of people together and see what terms they would use..if half a dozen people in a room are thinking "whatever phrase you like" then how many people globally are thinking that same thing?
What's the point of optimizing for terms people just aren't using??
And never ever ever lie to or mislead your visitors! And certainly under no circumstances invalidate your content!

This is the point...... I need to keep daily check on my G analitic stats... I noted already an increment at least about yahoo. And noted that are key that I have not considered a lot.

Install something like the Google Rank Extractor tool you'll see in my signature to see what keywords people are using to find your site. Or if you prefer a Perl version instead of PHP, look for one of 1dmf's posts. He's ported the tool to Perl and links to it in his signature.
Knowing what search terms people are using to find you already can quite easily lead you to new terms you may want to target after doing a bit of keyword research via the normal tool.

I had a client ask me if I'd ever used WordStream and I told her that we identified and organized all our keywords by hand. Yes, it takes lots of time but my hunch is it will provide better results.
Has anyone tried this service (paid or free) and if so, what do you think of it?
Thanks
