My site was maliciously hacked to include hundreds or spam links on nearly all of the pages .
As such it was flagged by Google as a site that could *damage your computer*
Well I dealt with the unwelcome coding and put in a clean backup copy of the site ,whereupon Google very quickly removed the warning.
However my rankings are still nowhere after a week has gone by.
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process of rehabilitation or even find out for definite what has caused the rankings to plummet?
I have noticed that the various pages as showing in Google Cache (you know where it says *cache* under where your site is listed in the search results)-are nearly all still showing the malicious coding even though the live site is now clean.
Would there be a way of geting rid of these unwelcome Google Caches or is it just a question of waiting for them to disappear over the next few weeks (hopefully not months)?
