I am thinking of distributing some 2 month old blog posts to a wide range of article directories to increase relevant backlinks...

I am thinking of doing this with most of my blog posts (waiting two months then submitting)... Would that result in "duplicate content" disaster? or is the 2 months of time this content has sat at my blog be enough to avoid my site being de-listed from the search entrys or delisted all together?

Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

You are of the mistaken assumption that your site will be penalized for duplicate content.

Please see the pinned thread about duplicate content in the seo no-no's forum where I'm moving this.

I would change the words in the original first then distribute. If it doesn't hurt you put in a little more effort and change the title and paragraphs.. (Use make sense Synonyms)
