hi

i want to register a site name but good ones have been taken up

if the name is say televisions

would it hurt my seo if i registered tele_visions or tele-visions .com for example

ALSO

i supect the answer is no and youll laugh at this question but would 1televisions help seo at all

i ask since a while back i had a page that started with a number and it did quite well but never been sure if this was due to the number preceeding keyword..

You can't use underscores in domain names as far as I know.

It's fine to use dashes, however.

But what you really want for your domain is whatever the name of your company is, not what your product is named. It's important to brand your company and have a domain that is memorable as those things are much more important than having a keyword within the domain name.
