Tips To Do Keyword Research?

Hi guys....
I am a search engine optimizer.Whenever i have to do keyword research i use Google analysis tool for that.It is true that Google keyword tool is the best but can any one suggest me any other free tool for this.

Wordtracker and Trellian have free versions. I use them and then feed the keywords they return to Google. Google doesn't show everything. For instance, if you search for 'widget' you may not get all popular phrases containing 'widget'. I guess Google doesn't want people to know all the best phrases without putting in some serious effort & guess work.

Google is a good starting point, unless you want to pay for something professional such as SEM Rush membership.
