I am a bit of a newbie at this web design thing. Been tinkering around for a couple of years and am starting to delve a little deeper into it. I've been doing some heavy research as of late into seo. My question involves placing text in an iframe that was constructed using 2 floating boxes with the use of CSS. My question is will the spiders be able to locate this text. I am trying to keep all of my text right there in front of the viewer - hence the use of the iframe. I know the traditional means of constructing iframes isn't good unless you go back and use a noframes tag and place your content in. Any help is appreciated.

You can accomplish a frames look using CSS Design:

CSSZenGarden.com/?cssfile=/079/079.css&page=0

Using this page as an example, the designer uses div id in the HTML

<div id="preamble"></div>

then defines the "preamble" in the CSS

#preamble {position:absolute;left:20px;top:145px;width:222px;height:298px;overflow:auto;}

which creates the look you see on the page.

I am by no means an expert in CSS Design but at least this is a place to start. Good luck! :)

Another good place to check out is A List Apart (www.alistapart.com). The have oodles of articles about CSS design, so I would be surprised if there was not an article there that covers this. They also tend to provide sample files that you can save/download & play with offline.
