Whenever I attempt to use any of the Wordpress editor functions (bold, link, add an image, and so on), and click save, the changes are not saved and the homepage of my website loads. I've searched the Internet and many people are having this problem, but no one seems to provide the answer to get rid of the problem. The only suggestion, that I found, is to deactivate all plugins. I don't have any activated plugins.

Can someone help me?

Is this the wordpress that's installed on your server?

Have you inadvertently changed the URL of where the blog resides in your settings?

It sits on my server. I searched the Internet and this is a problem many Wordpress users have. Here's a link to troubleshoot: http://wordpress.org...rt/topic/224121. I tried to follow some of the steps and deleted the blog by mistake. Now I'm afraid to try and do this myself.

Can you recommend someone that I can hire to fix this for me?

I don't know the specific error, but on the surface it sounds like it might be a file permissions problem. Possibly file ownership, but permissions sound more likely to me.

Have you moved the files to a new server or new location lately?

You may want to go through the install docs for WP and any plugins you have installed, paying particular attention to the permissions each file and/or directory is supposed to have.
