Just share my story. I have a site which was hit in Florida Update. I deoptimized it mainly by removing some reciprocal links and remove some keyphrases. It's now back to the original No. 1.

I also notice the my clients site ranking on google and comment are belows :-
Client's A. site come back at same position doing very well in indexing.
Client's B. site who just started to appear in google before florida update has also come back but it lost last position in indexing and showing on #8 or # 10 instead of #1.
Client's C. site who also starting apeared b4 florida update and maintain their same possition during the florida update, lost their ranking during the austin update by certain keywords bt rest indexing was same has also came back but lost their position and appearing in top 20 instead of top 10 and also lost their ranking by some keywords.
The all clients not touch(optimize) their site during the google updation.
Should Client's B permote their site more to get up in indexing?
Should Client's C reoptimze their site to get up in ranking or back in indexing?

This looks to me like that currently some frequent updates are in progress.
Some of my other clients still have a bit of bad luck, others have never had a change in rankings.

Often you can re-check that one listing and it corrects itself, or check in the normal g.com search and the site will be there, other times, pages just pop out for no reason.
As for Google having minor updates constantly, it has been doing this since the middle of 2003. They are not so much updates, as a constant flux of their index, with newly found pages being added on daily. Then every few weeks or so it updates its backlinking data which alters PR, and as a result, the positions of pages affected and that is when people notice it the most.

I realize this is the incorrect forum for such a request but could you (or someone equally knowledgeable in such mattes) take a look here and tell me if there's anything obvious? I'm not after an indepth examination just a quick once-over- thanks in advance
my main term is 'mortgage brokerage'
I don't believe there's anything spammy in there that would lead to me being penalised.

The same thing happens to me and Jill told me that it was normal for google and that it will stabilize, so you just have to wait for a few weeks.

A couple of days ago I was pleased to see our home page #2 for a very nice search term (let's say "A B C" words). (It's also interesting to notice that one of my colleagues saw it all the time #4, though we belong to the same local network and access the web via the same external IP). I was pleased at first, then I realised that the "C" word was just nowhere on my page (neither body copy, no TITLE tag, and I do not use metas). I'm sure that we weren't "Google bombed" for this word, either.
Then, it was not so pleasant anymore, as people who come across it may think we are cloaking, or something... I would, at any rate
I'm not pleased with Google anymore, also as a searcher. It's becoming more and more time-consuming to find what you need. But I do not see a REAL alternative yet.

I know that.
The same thing hapens to me and Jill told me that it was normal for google and that it will stabilize, so you just have to wait for a few weeks.
I also know that google still in race. We have to wait for some time I just want to ask that why its hpning with my one site why this not effect my other site or other result.
Has Google panalized my site?
