I'm starting up a new website, probably a blog. It's mainly going to be used to drive traffic and links into my main website in the long-run. What's the best way to get it going and ranking ASAP. The domain name consists of one of the best keywords for our industry so I'm hoping it could potentially rank well for that keyword (and other related ones).
Thanks

It's no different than getting any other site to rank. So the Tips for Newbies will get ya there.
FTR, don't expect the keyworded domain to do much for ya.
