Up until a couple of weeks ago, the Keyword Tool displayed the previous month's volume of searches and the average volume of searches (with my local settings for the UK applied).

Now, it displays the previous month's volume and the global monthly average search volume. The local monthly average search volume has been taken away.

Has this happened to any users outside the UK?

It just seems like not only a bizarre thing to do, but makes the tool less useful, too.

I believe you can change which columns it shows and doesn't show.

You can, but as I mentioned, the local monthly average search volume has been taken away altogether. Just seems a very strange thing to do, but I haven't seen any of the US SEO bloggers mention it yet, so I thought it might be something Google are using UK users as guinea pigs for.
