I've just agreed to purchase a few domain names from a dealer and they have given me instructions that they will be carrying out the transaction through escrow.com. I have to basically sign in once they send me a confirmation email (through escrow), agree to the terms and make the payment. Just want to make sure that this is the correct way of doing it and and that escrow is a reputable website and it's all legally binding as I've never done this before.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

Is there a reason you have to go through a dealer, are the specific domains already registered?

Yes, they are quite strong domain names that are already registered by the company selling them to me... they're keyword friendly for my business, that's why I'm purchasing them.
