hi
ive followed what i can from the pages ive read here and optimised three pages concenrating on just three keywords per page.
what i dont get is how many times one should repeat them on each page
ie as text, within email, as hyperlinks, in meta keywords, in title etc
im working on my hunch that twice maybe three will do in each case per page
any ideas that can assist me???

Repeat your keyword phrases as many times as it makes sense to do so within your copy. In other words, as much as you can without it sounding stupid.

I've heard that densities from 3-20% are good and that Google does not consider this keyword stacking. Best bet is to write the article well and fit the phrase where it fits.

In other words, any density at all. That is quite the range!

Danstelter, keyword density ratios have not been a valid measure of SEO copywriting success in at least 5 years if not more.

It's not about volume or repetition. It's about developing a page that focuses on a cohesive topic. Think more in terms of keyword placement than keyword quantity.
