Hello,

Maybe I'm getting cause and effect mixed up , wouldn't be a first wink1.gif

I had no.1 rankings in MSN/Live for most of my top KWD's and a good top 30 ranking on G!

Since i've moved my hosting from UK to USA , I can't even find myself in the SERPs anymore?

Why would this be?

Are you looking for it in the UK serps? Something in our International SEM Issues Forum might help.

You're right to a point Jill, Yes I have lost all my 'UK only' due to now being USA hosting.

I'm going to try the domain parking thing tonight that Randy suggests.

But in MSN I was global No1 , not uk only!

Now the only way I seem to be able to find myself is via the site:operator sad.gif

Would it help to set up geo-targeting in google webmaster tools?

done that, so i'll have to give it a while to find out if it worked.

I was going to do the domain parking trick, but I had an issue with a script when i ported it from windows to nix and the host got upset and disabled the script. As it was hanging and sucking up server processing time, over their acceptable usage policy, so been fixing that rather than adding a parked domain to the account.

I'll hopefully get round to it this weekend.

Well I did the ole GWMT geo-location targeting thing, and now I'm back in G! SERPs. phew.gif

I guess I still need to domain park to get the other SE's to see me as UK.
