It depends what you are looking for, and what you want to pay.
Actinic, & OScommerce are the two front runners really, Actinic is expensive if you are developing, and OScom is free (opensource GNU)

Yeah, I have had my eye on OSCommerce - since it is open and generates HTML pages rather than serving dynamic ones it seemed like is should be SEO-able.
But the question was what forum is appropriate for that discussion.

OSCommerce does not generate static HMTL pages, they are all dynamically generated using PHP from a MySQL database. However, you make dynamic pages look like static URL's. See dynamic pages section for more info on how to do it.Yeah, I have had my eye on OSCommerce - since it is open and generates HTML pages rather than serving dynamic ones it seemed like is should be SEO-able.
Actinic generates static HTML pages (it uses an Access database on the machine with the Actinic Catalog Software on) which it then uploads to the web server.
Can't remember how much Actinic costs (even though my company is a re-seller). The Actinic Catalog version covers most uses. Business adds login facilities (allows different prices for customers with logins). Developer adds a Dreamweaver plug in but it's not worth the extra - it's really designed for companies to develop sites and then give their clients the snapshot and Order Manager.
