Great reminder from Jen Laycock that what you say in social media (and forums and everywhere) is public and you never know who might be reading it:

But I think it also emphasises another point, don't react to what you read in blogs, posts, social media threads, as you have no idea if the OP was joking, being serious, or just down right stupid.

It also easy to see a thread and make an oppionion, when you've taken the post out of context!

Some even make like that up just for link bait, so how do you sort the wheat from the chaff?
