I keep reading on this site that the toolbar PageRank doesn't matter, but if it's useless why is it there?
When I get backlinks, I try to get them from sites that are really old so that I know there is a lot of trust in the links, but I'd rather have links from old domains that are from 1994-1996 that actually have a Toolbar PR of 4+. It just seems weird getting a link from a N/A page.
I'm wondering if I should stop caring about the Toolbar PR and just focus on the age of the domain.

Because having it there got a lot of webmasters and seo's to download and install the Toolbar.

I'm not insinuating anything 1dmf.
But I don't have GTB installed because I don't much care for big brother watching any more than he already does.

So G!'s not my friend but my big brother -> bad enough I guess! (though I only got a sister, so can't speak from experience).
