I was reviewing a site that is developed in Ajax and wondered if this has a negative impact on SEO.
Page Source for page Title says <title>XXXX Seek</title>
The SERPs show the Title as: XXXX Seek - Monokote® Spatterkote® SK-3 Cement Based ...
At the top of the browser shows: <title>XXXX Seek</title>
In the page source just above the Title tag is this:
<head>
<link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Autodesk Seek : Featured Content" href="/atom10/feeds/featuredcontent/featuredcontent.atom" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Autodesk Seek : New Content" href="/atom10/feeds/newcontent/newcontent.atom" />
Are these generating the Title shown in the SERPs?

That stuff in your head is just xml feeds.
Not sure why the SERP title and browser title would be different though. Could the serp one be coming from dmoz?

Thanks Jill - it's not DMOZ or any directory. This is the behavior of hundreds of pages at this domain.
