What are the advantages of using Joomla Mambo or Word Press from an SEO perspective?

I don't really know or use either. I do know that Matt Cutts often mentions Wordpress as good so that would probably lead me down that direction initially if I was to choose one for myself.

They all have their pros and cons. It's my understanding that WordPress is one of the easiest to set up, but I haven't used the others, so can't say for sure.

From an SEO perspective they're all about the same. Each will need minor tweaks (meta descriptions, sitemaps, etc), but they're all on par with one another. WordPress is my choice because its significantly easier to tweak & modify, but that's an administrative choice.
