You all are still celebrating that?
Heck, my Christmas stuff is all done. All I have left to do now is sit back and enjoy the quiet.
We do the BIG Family thing the Sunday before the holiday every year so that we're not constantly fighting scheduling conflicts. Then our household Christmas is usually Christmas Eve night, but we moved it up to this morning this year because the daughter's schedule is just too hectic and she was heading out with her boyfriend's family to do their family stuff with the rest of the clan over in KC. So now I get some much deserved, quite welcome solitude for a day or two. Just me and the cats. ahhh... it feels good already!
The break is just fine by me. It'll give me time to to finish up that workbench I bought a bunch of lumber and counter tops for yesterday. The one I need for my new, expanded production and shipping area for one of the three projects I have scheduled to debut in January/February 2009. Gotta get the workbench built quickly since I need a place to put the several thousand dollars worth of equipment I've ordered so far this week. (Call me silly, but it just makes more sense for me to make those major purchases before the end of the year so I can immediately claim them on my taxes, rather than buy 'em after the first and have to wait all year to get a tax advantage!)
The fun just never ends I tell ya!

Hope everyone had a safe Christmas. The weather hasn't been the best in the midwest and some other areas. Hopefully everyone arrived safely at their destinations.
