This is the greatest thing on TV right now . . .

For those familiar and keeping up with the latest season - I have some thoughts.

Jenna - I thought she was whiny when she won, which I still can't believe. But if family was so important - why did she come on the show in the first place? I feel bad that her mom died - but why agree to do the show when you know her health is bad?

Richard - the nekkid shark killer. The fact that he does everything nekkid is a bit disconcerting, I can't imagine those that have to live with him on the island. But, biting a shark that is biting you? I have a new respect for the guy.

Rupert v. Jerri - who wins?

I don't know, Matt. Fox has this new show called "The Little Groom" which is about...

Should your height determine whom you find attractive? Of course not! THE LITTLEST GROOM will venture where no other show has gone by helping a young man who is 4’5” tall to find true love. Initially believing he will choose among women of similar stature to his own, he later discovers, in a surprising twist, that some average-sized women will enter the picture. Will his ideal mate be a little person, or will she be of average height?

This be the best reality television show yet!

(I am kidding of course)

The closest I get to watching any of these reality TV shows is to watch Survivor contestants on Dave Letterman and I always love when Stacy asks them If they "saw or touched any monkeys". :)

I'm surprised that The Littlest Groom hasn't resulted in more complaints and outrage against the FOX network. Talk about taking advantage of people! Take it a step further and we could have dating shows based on inflaming race/religion relations, etc. Why not?

No kidding! I always think I've seen everything and then they come out with something else. It scares me to think of what they will come out with next. :D

I haven't watched this nor do I plan to but there is a reality series on SciFi called "Mad, Mad House" that looks pretty sick. I also heard a while back of a reality tv show where they would show people playing Russian Roulette, on cable of course. It is amazing what people will watch.

I must admit, I didn't like Survivor when it first came on. My husband talked me into watching it a time or two with him and now I'm hooked! :aloha:

Richard is a jerk. First class, A1, all around jerk. He's just so sure he's got everybody on a leash. Can't wait to see him voted off.

I love Rupert, but will admit that he screwed up royally on that "house" he built. I bet that'll cost him. I don't think he would stand up too well against Jerri. Rupert doesn't fair too well in fights. He's just not the "stick up for myself" kind of guy. On the last show (Pearle Islands) he would rant and rave, but that was out of hurt, I think. I believe he's just a venerable little kid in a tie-dyed T-shirt

Jenna? Hmm... I'm with you. Why come on the show if you know your mom is not doing well? That's just what I said to my husband. I, too, feel for her. That's awful to have a parent die. But it would've worked out better (IMO) if she declined the invitation to come back.

That's the 2nd person in two shows who's quit. (Oston quit Pearle Islands last go 'round.) Wonder if we're seeing a trend here?

I always thought voting people out was a little weak.
Why not just let them stay on the island until they quit? I think it would add a little more drama to the series. Deprive them of food, sleep and outsisde contact and see how long they WANT to survive . . .

Nah! Part of the "charm" is that you have to strategize about who you want left and who you want to vote off. Then throw in the challenges and immunity and see if your plan works out. Of course, there are all those other people on the island who might not agree with you, but that just makes it all the more interesting.

Hmm... a little romance tonight, eh? Jeff was looking at the two of them like, "You'd better not cross that line."

At the season finale last time, Jeff was saying that there are really only 2 rules in Survivor.

1) No conspiring to split the million, and
2) No sex

I'll bet he's gonna have the cameras pointed every where these two go from now on. ;)

Is it just me or is Jerri less evil this time around?

I think she's tired, cold and hungry. ;) If she recovers from those, I'll bet she'll go back to her evil ways.

She might go back to her old ways. Personally I always suspected the Evil Queen act was a put-on. Just a ploy to launch her acting career.

Jerri vs. Rupert will be interesting to watch. Rupert is pretty clueless when it comes to politics. And building a basement house on the beach was just plain stupid.

I can't believe that Alicia was on the chopping block!!! and not Sue?
That tribe has a few issues.

Jerri seems a little more laid back this time around - even somewhat likeable.

Rob and Amber - much closer than they admit. I didn't think there was a "no sex" rule. Earlier seasons mentioned that there was a first-aid kit that had condoms, but no one even thought about them because after a couple of sweaty days with no baths - no one was attractive enough to even think about it.

Yeah, that tribe has issues because they don't have two brain cells between them. Alicia is the only one that has a real clue (besides that she is easy on the eyes). Boston Rob is entertaining, I wouldn't mind going out drinkin with him, but he isn't that bright...susan, well, she's a cheese-head, what can you expect

Rupert totally blew it with the shelter thing, he is DARN lucky they didn't end up in tribal council.

Richard Hatch is the most arrogant person in the world, but for some weird reason, I am rooting for him.

Survivor has, in their possession my thrid application to the show...and I only have a few more weeks before the interviewing begins and they haven't called yet. They called the first time, nothing the second time, this time I put a ton of time into it, I am hoping for at least the first round interview.

Exactly! I said to my husband, "Alicia?? Why not Sue?" I mean, at least Alicia is strong. Sue is lazy and annoying.

The no sex thing is what Jeff said last season at the finale. I didn't know that either until I heard him say it.

Never heard the rumor about the first aid kit and its contents.

Poor Rupert! His idea was dumb, but at least last night he took responsibility for it. He came right out and said it was the dumbest idea he'd ever had.

Yeah, but he said that to the camera, I never saw him say tit to his teammates, which is what matters (and in all honesty, I may have missed it). I like Rupert, I relate with him a lot, I feel bad for him but that was REALLY stupid and ANYONE could see that.

I think the people to go should be

-Sheann (sp?)..dull, why is she even ON allstars?
-Amber (just annoying)
-Sue - likes her at first but she bugs me this time.

I am rooting for to win:

- Rupert, tho it AIN'T gonna happen
- Richard just cuz I respect the confidence
- Lex cuz he reminds me of everyone I grew up with
- Alicia cuz I would like to see her on all the mag covers, it wuld make standing in line at the market easier

All in all I am finding All Stars very boring compared to the rest tho. Half the fun is getting to know the characters and watch them develop. I already know these peeps...and I really wonder why some of them were even picked...
