I want to give out a shout out to Di for her excellent article last week regarding trying to use price as a marketing tool in these tough economic times. I couldn't agree more that Value, or really perceived value, is as important or more important than price for most shoppers. Including online shoppers.
Kudo's on some very sound advice.
The only thing I'd add, being a wordy little git, is that often the Value is something you're already doing, but simply aren't communicating very well during the sales process. It's important all the time to have a well defined USP/UVP (Unique Selling Proposition/Unique Value Proposition) that gets stated clearly and concisely to potential customers. Having one and getting it across to potential customers is simply more important when money is tighter for almost everyone out there.
