I'm seeing the new SERPs on Yahoo, They are slightly different than the 64. SERPS.

But still not seeing the new SERPS on www.google.com

Hmmm, I am not seeing that for my terms. Still showing the regular results from Google.

This will probably sound like a dumb question....if you are seeing a very old version of your site in the cache does that mean there could move in rankings whenever google caches it again?

I'm not so sure they were google results now, may have been Yahoo testing. They were only there for one search. My next search the old google results were there. They were simmiliar to the new google results but not the same.

I have been seeing the new database cycling through google for a while. There one search, gone the next. Would appear that they are still testing things out and hopefully they will make the new database live soon :hmm: ;)

Vickie, I haven't looked at it that carefully, but does it look to you like that one we were looking at the other day with the +www search?

Would you say that if I type in an entire unique sentence from my site in google search and my site is not found, that:

a. Its just another symptom that Google is malfunctioning now or;
b. My site is just not being spidered?

In 2 months googlebot has a number "22" in my hits counter. Is that a lot or a little?

Thanks for any input.

From the term I am testing for "pregnancy tests", all three are presenting different results.

1) Normal google search
2) Google search +www
3) Search on http://64.233.161.99

Searching on http://www.google.com without any new algo results with the +www does return very similar results to a +www search on the ip database.

What does this mean?? Beats the heck outta me :propeller: I just thought it was interesting.

Hi mfogel,

Do you have access to your access logs? That would be one of the better ways to find out if Google has spidered you.

Do you have any links to your site from any outside websites? It could be that Google doesn't know you are there and won't until it finds a link to you from somewhere else.

I am seeing the same unfortunate results...
#95 on 216.239.37.98 and #5 on 64.233.161.99

:propeller: I need to go away until this all settles! Results are now showing 64.xx results - I think google's ultimate evil plan is to give all the SERP watchers heart attacks so they can do their tweaking in peace without an uproar with every turn of the dial!

:propeller: I, personally, feel like the mouse that has been batted around by the cat - Not sure if I am going to get a way or get eaten  I know in the long run, the results will settle where they need to be - whether or not I do a happy dance about it, well that still stands to be seen!

I feel LedFish you have to sit tight for sometime, Did you enjoy the Valentine's day or fully engaged in google watching,
You too vickie did you have some fun on valentine's day  ,
According to me GoogleGuy is some one in very high position, May be even Sergie or Larry or craig, they wont simply mess around with us, Just leave things to settle down a bit, Even Guys in google needs to celebrate Valentine's day :propeller: ,
