I'm not sure what you mean by the term guest posting Pamela.
To me this simply means the ability to post a comment on a blog or forum without requiring the user to register with the blog or forum. Is this what you're talking about?
If so, I'm not sure how it relates to building a Brand, since by its very definition one will want to take credit for what they post in order to build their Brand and get their name out there.

I think she means writing a post for another person's blog, as a guest when the usual blogger is too busy or when they invite others to do so.
But, I still don't understand the question either. If someone is looking for guest bloggers, you can volunteer. That's pretty much all there is to it.

I have had people guest post on some blogs of mine and also guest posted on others sites as well. I don't think we ever used this term we were just helping each other out by updating each others sites at the time.
