We seem to have disapeared from the Google search engine. Only one page is still there, an html-page ...

We need advices to get the whole site to be indexed by Google again and tips to optimize the code for higher google ranking.

We use Smarty PHP templates and lately also Zend Framework. Can the problem be there?

When entering the domain address at [link to site inspection tool removed per Forum Rules] we get for example:

Title tag not found
META description not found
Body contains 19 words, it should be at least 200 words long

None of above is true... What can be wrong?

Please do not rely on some silly 3rd party tool to tell you if something is wrong with your site's code. Instead visit the site in your browser and view the source code or optionally view the cache at Google itself to see what they say.

You say your site seems to have disappeared. You need to find out if it just seems that way or it actually has been de-indexed. We can't offer any pertinent advice otherwise, as the causes could vary greatly.

Go to Google and do a site:www.yourdomain.com type of search. See how many pages of your site get returned. If they're all there, you haven't been removed from Google. While there you can also view the Cache links to your pages, specifically the Text Cache version (there's a link to this in the cache view page) so that you can see exactly what Google saw when it last visited.

If you don't see any or many pages of your site listing in the site: search, you need to figure out why. 90% of the time it's a technical problem of some sort in my experience. Ranging from a server that has been down, to a robots.txt that's excluding bots from every page to faulty DNS to badly implemented server side code that keeps pages from being displayed because of coding errors.

In rarer circumstances it could be changes you've made to your pages recently. So if you've made any changes just prior to the fall from grace you'll want to review those and make sure nothing you did broke Google's terms of service.
