I've done a search and didn't see a topic about this. Does anyone know of a reliable alternative to Feedburner? You can check stats one day and you have 1,000 subscribers. The next day it's 0. Two days later, they're back again. And when you have 0 subscribers, that means no emails go out because there is no one on your list to send an email to.

It's getting old.

No answer, just expressing my surprise that there've been no responses, and eagerly awaiting some. I've long found Feedburner kinda useless.

Sorry, but I wouldn't know of a free or paid alternative.

It does surprise me as I've found feedburner quite reliable (for a free service). I've got 6 feeds with Feedburner and a total of 1,800+ subscribers and 95-99% of these are email subscribers. Since January 2007 my 6 feeds have had up to 4 or 5 days where no stats are shown, which I find quite acceptable for a free service. I checked one of the feeds and I received emails for each day since Jan 08. Are you sure it isn't a problem with Feedburner acquiring the feed or anything? Or maybe I'm just being lucky that my feeds have been delivered consistently.

Thanks, Maka, for the word.

Feedburner has stated my subscriber count as either 0 and 1, ever since I created my account with them. To ensure that isn't merely indicative of a problem on my end, a coupla times, just for fun, I created a slew of Google accounts and subscribed to my feed with 'em. All worked exactly as expected, 'cept "0 or 1" was always returned...

Oh, well.

It's funny, because I've visited several forums over the last few weeks, looking for info on website creation, RSS feeds, and the like. Having inconsistencies with FeedBurner seems to be an epidemic, and in all of the posts I've read, only two other services were even mentioned. The biggest surprise among the forums I visited was that no one has taken on the task of really competing with FeedBurner.

At any rate, here's the two I came across:

Zookoda (www.zookoda.com) - Not really sure this one will fill your needs though.

Rapidfeeds (www.rapidfeeds.com) - Seems to be similar to FeedBurner, but with less features.
