Not really sure what sort of thing you were thinking you could do if you don't have any control of anything.
How was PubCon?
To be honest this is one of the most frustrating tasks i've ever had to deal with as the technical changes do not get dealt with - only content changes. So we still have canonicalization issues, incorrect mark ups, no 301 re-direct facility (and pages are deleted on a quite regular basis) - and I also have duplicate content due to this META refresh. I have the ability to modify the robots.txt file to exclude the specific URL strings - which has seen position improvements but I would still like to stop the attached happening (when you cache the page and click 'text only') - so I would like to have a type of 'nofollow' attribute attached to it - but can't seem to find any solution along those lines. Finding the solution is one thing but getting it implemented is another.
Have you ever had an experience like this?
