Internet marketing is it self a very big domain. It consist of several areas like affiliate markting, online services, shopping cart etc.. so you need to specify the same. Then I can suggest properly. If you want to brand your site the there are different way of promotion seo, ppc, viral marketing and more... so need more specific details to guide you properly .

about your questions, I suggest that you choose a long domain name that related to the keywords in order to get listed in search engine.
then you can get a new short domain name & put it in your web page to make your customer easier to remember (domain parking)

Welcome Zyan Mann!
The longer domain name with keywords really won't help for search engines. It's better to stick with your branded company name, in my opinion.
