Hi I am a newbie to SEO.

I have this website e.g. http://www.abc.com and it actually redirects to a sub-directory to this url http://www.abe.com/SG that is the main page.

My question is, I checked the PR for http://www.abc.com via some PR checker website and found to be 3/10.
But when I logon to http://www.abc.com which auto-redirects to http://www.abc.com/SG I saw on my Google Toolbar the PR reflected as N/A.

Can someone explain to me why is this so and what should I do to divert the ranking from my www.abc.com to www.abc.com/SG

Thanks!

Welcome esadvertiser ! hi.gif

1. Make sure your redirect is delivering a 301 Moved Permanently server response, as opposed to something like a 302 Moved Temporarily response.

2. Stop worrying so much about PageRank. Especially the PageRank shown in the Google Toolbar or any of those sites that scrape the GTB PR number. It's not the same thing as Real PR, so is basically a useless metric.
