Hi I have had a website that has been running since 2003, the front page still has a page rank but a lot of (70% or there abouts) other pages are grey bar now. The pages are ones that have been exsiting for many years, I have made edits to them over the years etc... (such as the contact us page or the sitemap) my site is <removed - See Forum Rules> I have checked over all the code and made sure there is no duplicate content. The site is not part of any link farms, and I do not trade reciprocal links.

Google analytics has shown a huge drop in traffic .. .

thanks
-Joe

Well the domain doesn't work for me, is that part of the problem?

It's working from here 1dmf. So I doubt that's it.

Why do you care what Toolbar PageRank the pages have? You do realize this means nothing towards rankings and doesn't even mirror what the Real PageRank is right? You can safely ignore GTB PageRank since it means basically nothing.

What about metrics that really count? Are all of the pages of your site indexed? What do you see when you perform a site:yourdomain.com type of search?

What about traffic from the search engines. Are you still seeing traffic from Google? Do you have any of your interior pages optimized and are those still getting traffic for their keyword phrases? Do your interior pages still get visits from Googlebot?

In short, you're asking the wrong questions. The one you're asking won't tell you anything, even if you find an answer. Focus on stuff that actually matters, not some silly green bar. pr.gif

Do you think it's a UK DNS issue?

I did a google for the domain and then clicked on the SERP links , none of them worked for me?

I didn't look to see if there are any DNS issues. If there is one however I wouldn't expect GTB to be the first indication of a problem one notices. That said, I guess it wouldn't hurt to run the site through the DNS Report tool over at dnsstuff.com. I believe they still have a free trial there.

On the other hand, maybe they're blocking the UK because they don't want you looking at the site 1dmf. jester.gif
