I have a blog about neuroscience and neurotechnology called "Brain Stimulant" on blogspot (brainstimulant.blogspot.com). Several weeks ago it was showing up number one when you typed in "brain stimulant" in google. I was also getting some traffic from google searches for various blog posts (like around 20 to 30 refferals from google search a day).
On May 19 or the 20th, I made a couple new blog posts. All of a sudden my ranking in google decreased and I was no longer number one. I am currently number 9 when you type in "brain stimulant" in google. Also I no longer get any traffic from google like I was getting before.
Why did this happen all of a sudden? What did I do wrong? Is this because I possibly linked to a bad site?

You didn't do anything wrong, that's how blogs work. New content shows up high for awhile, then gets lower.

And, your content changed on the page.
And, other sites may have been updated or have had content changes.
Sometimes it is helpful to think of organic search as a game, you are always going to be jockying for position.
