Hi.

I tried posting a thread but it says it "must be previewed by a moderator"...

Why is this? Does this mean it's pending approval?

Anyway I can have my account upgraded or this limitation lifted?
I'm not a spammer and I am a positive contributor. sad.gif

Were you trying to post a new thread in the Website Reviews section by chance?

I'm not sure what error message it gives, but those are reserved for Active members of HRF. So if you tried to post a new thread in that area of the forum it would throw an error of some type at this point. Keep visiting and posting and you'll meet the minimum limits pretty quickly. wink1.gif

The other one that comes to mind is if you made a post (anywhere) and included a live link to someplace, which is a violation of the Forum Rules. To protect the forum and its readers there are some automatic systems in place that require moderator or admin review to cut the spam posters and link whores off at the knees. The same advice above applies.

Yeah, I went and found it. wink1.gif

Be careful with putting the http bit in posts for the time being, even if it's pointing to other forum posts. If you leave the http off the forum won't auto link.

Posting a link will automatically put it into preview.

No offense, but I am not going to be spamming or anything..Can I get my account lifted? I only link to useful tools that are on-topic or threads here if I link in my posts...

No. You post a link, the post will be mod previewed. Same as everyone else's.

I'm new here too.
About the live link posting... Does that mean that if I find an interesting You Tube video I want to share (not related to me) that it will not be posted?
Or...
Would a Moderator just look at it first and then let it through?

Thanks!
