Well,
I think buying links can give a lot of untargeted visitors except in rare cases in which the relevance is real and you have an excelent content in your site.

I think the reciprocal links are better, you find exactly website in your niche which will add value with there link and talk with them to have reciprocal links. In this way you don't invite untargeting traffic which is not going to produce value for you.

Sorry, but your post doesn't make any sense. Whether the links are paid for or reciprocal or something else has nothing to do with their relevancy.

In some ways i have to agree - people obsess alot about getting a 1-way link.

But 2 way links with a good relevant site can often do more for your awareness and general traffic - than the often discusses SEO benefits of a 1- way link. So i would have to agree that most people should look at both - but strongly consider 2-way links.

Huh? How will it make the slightest difference for your traffic whether you reciprocate a link or not?

Look, if the link is on a high-traffic page that's visited by your target customers and presented in a way that it comes to the attention of these customers in a positive way, it will likely bring you traffic. The people clicking on the link on that page have no way of knowing whether you link back or not, nor will 99.999% of them care.

If the link is on a page that doesn't in any way relate to your page, if the page in question never gets visited by people who are interested in what you offer, or if the link is buried in an out-of-the-way location on the page or presented in a negative or annoying way, then it probably won't bring you much traffic.

One-way or two-way, purchased or free, none of these has anything at all to do with it.
