Is it possible for me to create a user account so that my client can only access the awstats from cpanel.

i.e. so that they cat get into file manager and mess things up etc.!!

I'm not a CPanel expert but,

I believe you can edit a template to not show the file manager, this isn't really restricting access though, if they know the URL they can still get to it.

I'm not sure if you can edit templates with a reseller account, so If you don't have root access to CPanel you'll have to ask them to add the new modded template.

Another way you can do it is by changing the permissions to disable write access, or change their ownership. Do you have root access to the server?

I have a reseller account and set up the individual client websites on that, so i create the username password etc. for each individual website cpanels.
