I still haven't forgiven Yahoo for dropping the numbering of the results on their SERPs, and if anyone knows of a greasemonkey script that would bring them back I'd love to know about it.
But there's another change that I've only just noticed today. I don't search at Yahoo very often, so this may have happened some time ago (although I really doubt my memory is so bad that I've forgotten it's always been like this): they've stopped bundling results from the same domain. In the attached image, I've got two URLs from my blog (the home page and a category page) being returned, but with another site between them.

I noticed the unbundling or unclustering of same site results in the same result set while testing something on Y! a couple of weeks ago Bob, but like you I don't use it all that much as my main search engine. I have no clue how long that's been going on, but think we'd have probably heard about it if it had been too long ago.
On the search numbering thing, I recall visiting a site recently for something else entirely that had such an animal in a bookmarklet for Y! and the other majors. I haven't tried it out or looked to see if it was built for one browser or another, but I'll dig around and see if I can find it again.

I believe Yahoo! has had ungrouped results for quite some time, Bob. It's one of the reasons why I feel Yahoo! has higher relevance than the grouped results for Google. Webmasters may like the Google grouped results since it gives them much more visible impact in the SERPs. However I believe it is a disservice to the searcher.
BTW thanks a million for the Yahoo! numberer. I was really upset by their decision. That bookmarklet works a treat.

I showed Danny Sullivan this thread and he told me Yahoo hasn't really ever grouped results, to his knowledge.

That's a bit surprising. Not that I have specific memories of grouped results on Yahoo, but I would have thought that Yahoo would have at least gone through a period of doing it.
