Not Getting Internal Links
Posted 11 April 2008 - 10:38 AM
New to SEO. Went to Marketleap to investigate our links and noticed that our site has no internal links whatsoever. If anyone has any idea on why this is happening, it would be most appreciated.
Also, despite being on both zoominfo and linkedin for quite some time, those links do not show up either. Any ideas why
Thanks in advance for any help

2. I hope you didn't count on the two services you mentioned giving you some magical boost in backlinks or rankings. Because neither is a panacea.

This is an advanced search method that helps give you an idea of the number of pages Google has in it's index from your website.
These pages may not show up under the search you did, but there is a way to search using the term site: before your URL, which shows various pages Google has found from your web site.
Here is Google's explanation:
You can search for all pages in the site or pages with specific keywords or phrases in them.
keyword phrase site:www.yoursite.com
You do have internal links if Google has found all these pages.
Your index page links to your site map, which Google can follow through your site to the other important pages.
Perhaps you mean your site has no incoming links rather than internal links?
