Hi,
I've a website that is on the first page in MSN, and not even on the first 200 sites in google. Is that Normal?
and will more links to my site will be the right solution?

Not only normal, it happens often. Sometimes having to do with on page content, and sometimes having to do with the age of the web site, age and quality of the inbound links. Google is slower to respond to new links than MSN. Google usually responds quickly to changes in use of keywords and improvements to on-page content.

Google and MSN have always had different algo's. Yahoo too. And Ask. And every other search engine.
That said, it's not impossible to rank well on all of them at the same time. Some of us do it every day.

I notice a delay by both Yahoo and Google in "acknowledging" new inbound links and moving the average site up in the rankings. There also seem to be sites exempt from this "waiting period" or ways to work around the wait. Can you shed some light on this?
