Hello I’m very new to all this so apologies if my question has already been asked many times before.
Do the search engines look unfavourably at multiple reciprocal links between 2 sites?
The company I work for has a number of landing pages, for which it is more important to get traffic to as opposed to the homepage.
If another site has products/services that are relevant to your site but also categorise in a similar way is it unwise to trade a number of links?

Yes and no.
If they're relevant and make sense, it should be fine for the most part.
I would stay away from having too many though. If you're looking at quantity as something that will help your SEO ranking, forget about it. Relevant linking is only plausible in most scenarios when it's relevant, makes sense, and used sparingly.
I hope this helps.
