Hi All,
I am already indexed by Yahoo, but in their Web results, not Directory results. How much of a difference would it make if I got into their Directory listings? Is it worth the $299? I am on the fence on this one. Any insight would be great !!

How much difference would it make to what? All it would get you is a listing in their directory. Not sure how many people even know that exist these days.

My personal opinion ... It's not worth the cost. Hasn't been for years.

Well, It is different. If your website has a good visibility a listing in Yahoo directory will not boost it a lot. But for brand new website it makes a difference... But the price is too high. It is better to pay to a few popular direcotries related to your business instead of spending with Yahoo.

My personal opinion - it's worth it for a serious business. A listing in the directory is really a listing in every regional version of the Yahoo! directory, so it's a lot of topically relevant links.
FWIW, I had one site magically appear in DMOZ after being listed in the Yahoo! directory. Sometimes the benefits are not always direct.
