Come over to Boston on Monday and you can run the Boston Marathon when you're done with yours!

Jill, I've been toying with the idea of doing a few other marathons around the world, including Boston and Tokyo. Monday might be pushing it a bit though! In fact walking might be asking a bit too much from me come Monday.
Maybe next year, who knows?
Thanks again for all your support.

An absolutely brilliant day, and despite the rain, the support was unbelievable.
Despite an old knee injury flaring up after about 8 miles, I managed to run all the way round. The injury slowed me up a bit, but I managed to get round in just under 4 hours.
Like I said, the support round the course was amazing. It's great having people cheering you on right from the start and along every inch of the course. It rained pretty much the whole way round - but that didn't keep the crowds away. To be honest I think most runners were happier with the milder weather and rain rather than it being as warm as it was in the week leading up to the day.
Thanks again to everyone who has supported me, it definitely helps you keep on going when you think about the support you have and the people who will benefit from the money raised.
I wisely took the day off today, and I'm hoping my legs return to a usable condition soon. At the moment I can hardly manage 26 metres, never mind 26 miles!
After a week or so rest, i'll be looking to get back running, and can start thinking about next year as well!! Oh yes, I'm definitely doing it again next year. With a longer time to train and prepare, and if I remain injury-free (fingers-crossed), then I can hopefully knock 30 minutes of this year's time!
Thanks again to everyone who supported me.

And all to a great cause as well! My friend went up to watch a mate of his do the marathon, he said the atmosphere was amazing despite the rain!
Well done Daniel Cheers!

The Boston Marathon is going on right at this moment, and unfortunately, it's way too hot today. In the 80's. Not a good day for the runners.

In support for you , yesterday I did the Welsh alternative marathon, 26 Pints of Lager. (just kidding, it was about 8 or maybe 9) YET another kids party!

I admire all you marathon runners, I can just about manage 40 minutes in the Gym - but at least it's dry!
OWG - you and my hubby both! He ended up spending all morning in bed nursing his stomach vowing "never, ever again!"
