If it's something your visitors wouldn't actually be interested in, then it's bad.

So you're linking to other sites regardless of whether you've determined that those linking partners might be valuable or at least beneficial to users of your site?

If this is the case, then yes it's bad.

Pretty much any time you do anything with your web site where the main concern is the search engines it's a bad thing. Conversely, pretty much any time you anything with your web site where the main concern is providing the best experience for real users, it's a good thing.

Simply review the site(s) in question with your own two eyes, while keeping the needs of your visitors in the back of your mind.

It'll be pretty apparent if a site offers true value or not. There's no magic formula.

Hi,
First of all you will have match your theme to that site from which you are doing link exchanging. if that site site has s
same theme then you will have to proceed for link exchanging to that sites.

Thanks.........

Is there any way to check all of my outbound links all at once, to see if any of them are going to a banned site? I know I can check them 1 at a time, but that just takes way too much time.

If it takes too much time to check your outbound reciprocal links manually then you have too many.

Yes.

Jill or others,

I know that having links from Wikipedia to your site (however they got there) is good for SERP Position but does that also apply to sites that host Wikipedia data or even other sites in general?

Thanks.

No, actually they're not as they have the nofollow attribute on them.

It depends if those other sites link with nofollow attributes or not.
