My hosting provider offers hosting plans including e-commerce. One of them is a Linux plan with oscommerce (www.oscommerce.com) and the other one is a Windows plan with Comersus. I feel more comfortable working with windows since I have some visual basic programming knowledge but I know many people use oscommerce.
What’s your advice? It’s a store with 5 products and I’d like to process payments using PayPal.
Thanx!

Welcome Cristabel ! hi.gif

Go with whichever hosting platform you're most comfortable with. As long as your cart provides the functionality you need, that's all that really matters. Neither the search engines nor your customers will care if you're on a *nix or IIS platform.

Randy is right, just go with whichever you feel most at ease with. There are a lot of fairly decent shopping carts out there these days that run on multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux Unix and most of them have a PayPal module.
